The Fruits of Freedom Campaign isn’t just an event — it’s a gathering of diverse queer voices. At every step of building this nonprofit, we’ve committed to amplifying perspectives too often left out of the cis, white, heteronormative narrative. This is a platform where multiple cultures, identities, and lived experiences come forward — each facilitator holding a different key to freedom.

🍓 Kai Franco — leading embodiment work, helping us reclaim the wisdom stored in our bodies.
🍋 Coach Kevin Martin — dismantling shame with honesty, compassion, and humor.
🍇 Leo Rising — grounding us each morning in yoga practice and breath.
🍑 Simon Malvaez — teaching Shibari (Japanese rope art), inviting trust, creativity, and sensual expression.
🍒 Donald C. Shorter Jr. — screening his award-winning documentary, followed by a Q&A and a live demo on flogging and spanking, bridging art and embodied practice.
🍍 Dillan Diaz — leading a workshop on embodied joy through touch, reclaiming pleasure and connection as a path to freedom.

Together, these voices create a luscious, liberating table — a celebration of queer joy in all its colors and flavors. 🌈

Our gathering unfolds at a stunning mountain-view retreat home in Smithfield, Utah (see the Airbnb here).

✈️ Airports

Salt Lake City International (SLC) — Code: SLC. The nearest major hub with full airline service. ~95 miles, about 1 hr 40 min drive.
Ogden-Hinckley (OGD) — Code: OGD. A smaller airport with limited Breeze Airways routes. ~65 miles, about 1 hr 15 min drive.

🚗 Driving Route

From SLC: Take I-15 North → US-89 North → Logan → Smithfield.
From OGD: Take I-15 North → US-89 North → Logan → Smithfield.

There’s on-site parking available. Car rentals or group carpools are recommended for those flying in.

All meals will be created by Chef Jake Verwys — think gourmet and bottom-friendly, blending delight, nourishment, and digestive ease so you can savor every moment without worry.

✨ This is more than a retreat — it’s a reclamation. A space to shed old narratives, taste queer freedom in community, and leave more whole than you arrived.
