We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Janis Velasquez Farmer as our keynote speaker! With over two decades of experience supporting students and communities across education systems, Dr. Velasquez Farmer brings a deep understanding of leadership, equity, and transformation. As the former founder of Emerge Strategic Designs, she has helped organizations build systems that are both equitable and effective, and her ongoing work centers on advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion through culturally responsive leadership and community-rooted strategy.

This breakfast raises critical funds for YWCA Bellingham’s housing and support programs, including our emergency shelter, senior housing, and permanent supportive housing. Your participation helps women and children in our community move from crisis to stability with dignity and care.
