I have been a member on the Board of READ Lakeland for over 3 years and proud to serve as the current Secretary of READ Lakeland. 

As someone whose grandparents were from Ukraine and English was their third language, this non-profit really hits home for me and I know first-hand what it's like being in a new country and trying to learn a new language to provide for your family and just get by in day-to-day life. 

Having the proper services and tools that READ Lakeland provides, it allows our community the chance to thrive and be successful! And the best part about it? This amazing fundraiser helps us raise funds so everything READ Lakeland provides is completely FREE to our students and we NEVER charge a dime! That's why I love being a part of READ Lakeland in helping to make a significant difference right here in our own community!
