Nishuane Elementary School's Story

Your Dollars at Work in Nishuane Elementary School!

A message from Principal Sedita:

Nishuane School is grateful for the ongoing support and collaboration of the MFEE! The MFEE has supported multiple initiatives at Nishuane through educational grants for teachers, as well as an equity grant. The equity grant will provide Nishuane with imperative funds to actualize the development and implementation of an instructional framework focused on the six elements of social justice as developed by Dr. Bree Picower and Dr. Tanya Maloney of Montclair State University. Collectively, the MFEE assumes an integral role in supporting Nishuane’s unwavering commitment to equity and access for each student.  We are greatly appreciative of the MFEE’s continuous partnership. Thank you, MFEE!

Your gift to MFEE fuels programs that support Nishuane teachers and families. Teachers have boosted their learning through out-of-the box Professional Development grants and Teacher Learning Communities. Families participate in programs like Navegadores Escolares, and MFEE scholarships ensure that children with limited resources can engage in dynamic summer learning. Finally, all of Nishuane’s students benefit from the innovative grants funded below:
