I support the Aplomb project because it is about resilience and strength. It is taking people's broken damaged situations, and creating something beautiful from the hurt. I support the Aplomb project because it is about connection and moving away from being alone, isolated, and feeling different. It unites all of the people who have been harmed and through creative self expression; a new stronger life is birthed from the pain.
I will be honoring my father because today is his birthday and he was a survivor too. My painting will represent rebirth, renewal and transformation.
