I started my circus journey at SANCA in 2011 on the flying trapeze. Since then I have found circus, and SANCA specifically, to be a place of self-exploration, self expression in creativity, and something that always makes me work on and for myself. I would not be who I am today without the incredible community at SANCA and I hope you are able to donate and support the programs here. Currently, I coach an adult Gender Affirming Circus class as well as co-coach one of our youth troupes, Celestials. Both of these programs allow me to continue to facilitate the kinds of activities I found comfort in at SANCA as a child and to create spaces for those like me.
