March Madness is upon us — and this year, you can root for your bracket AND support multilingual learners at the same time!

Here's how it works: Make a $20 (or more!) donation to SCMLE and receive your entry into our Multilingual Madness Bracket Challenge. Fill out both the Men's and Women's NCAA Tournament brackets for your chance to win some amazing prizes!

Each year, March Madness kicks off with Selection Sunday, when the 68-team fields for both the Men's and Women's NCAA Tournaments are officially announced.

After the brackets are set on March 15, the First Four (play-in) games take place over the following two days — but don't worry about those for our purposes. Your bracket will begin with the Round of 64, so the First Four games will not count toward your point total.

From there, the tournament runs through six rounds — the Round of 64, Round of 32, Sweet 16, Elite Eight, Final Four, and the National Championship — wrapping up on April 6. Every game from the Round of 64 onward will count toward your point total.

Everyone that makes a $20 donation or more will receive an email from 📧Kristin@SCMLE with information on how to enter their brackets into SCMLE's Multilingual Madness (completed using Yahoo). Brackets for both the Men's and Women's Tournaments must be submitted before the Round of 64 tips off — that means your Men's bracket must be in by 12:00 EST on March 19 and your Women's bracket by 12:00 EST on March 20.
