My father who passed away from cancer in 2011, was someone who had a love for all children and would never want any child to have to endure a battle with such a terrible disease. I feel this is a perfect way to honor the fantastic man, father and grandfather that he was by raising money to support children, which he cared so deeply about. May his memory be eternal, may his arms be wrapped around all the brave little souls in heaven that our efforts are not able to save, and may our fundraising help those who are fighting bravely each and every day.
