On any given night, you're likely to find me somewhere on the ice around Pittsburgh. Between playing for my beer league team, subbing for countless other teams (the 11:40 games no one else is crazy enough to say "yes" to), coaching goalies at Mt. Lebanon, or doing private lessons wherever I can find ice, it's easy to tell hockey is a huge part of my life.
When I'm coaching, I try to teach the kids just as much about being a leader off the ice as they learn skills on the ice. Ice hockey has a very high barrier to entry, but Pittsburgh ICE is committed to offering children of all socio-economic backgrounds the opportunity to play the game. Therefore, I'm extremely thrilled to be offered the opportunity to play in the All Goalie Game for a really good cause!
