We are a vibrant community of Lao-American youth united by our passion for preserving and celebrating Lao culture through dance. What began as a small group has quickly blossomed into a family of over 35 talented kids. Our mission is to keep the tradition alive, nurture our roots, and share the beauty of Lao culture with the world. We’re committed to continuing this movement, fostering a sense of pride, and empowering the next generation to carry forward our rich heritage.

Lao Loun Mai's Mission & Goals

Raising Funds for Operations and Programs
- To secure financial support for the group's ongoing activities, including dance classes, performances, costumes, and travel expenses for cultural events.
Promoting Cultural Awareness
- To increase public awareness and appreciation for Lao culture, especially through the art of traditional dance. This helps preserve and share the cultural heritage with a broader audience.
Celebrating Achievements
- To celebrate the group's accomplishments and milestones, whether it's a new performance, an anniversary, or an educational program, while thanking supporters and volunteers who have contributed to the group's success.
Building Community Support
- To engage the local community, both within and outside of the Lao community, and foster a sense of unity and support for the group’s mission and cultural initiatives
Showcasing Talent and Artistry
- To provide a platform for dancers to showcase their skills, highlight the beauty of Lao traditional dance, and inspire others to get involved
