When cancer enters a woman's life, the focus is often on saving her body. But what happens after treatment ends? The fear. The trauma. The loss of identity. The emotional scars.

Since 2013, You Night has been helping women navigate the often-overlooked emotional and mental health challenges that accompany a cancer diagnosis. Through our innovative programs, more than 700 women throughout Southeast Louisiana have found healing, hope, confidence, and a powerful sisterhood of support.

Today, 31 courageous women are participating in our Class of 2026 SheRose Program—a transformational nine-month journey that helps women move beyond survival and rediscover their strength, purpose, and voice.

How We Use the Funds

Funds raised support You Night's comprehensive emotional healing and empowerment programs for women facing cancer. While medical treatment focuses on the disease, our programs focus on the woman behind the diagnosis—helping her rebuild confidence, rediscover her identity, and find hope beyond cancer.

Through our signature programs, participants receive:

ScART™ Healing Workshops that use creative expression to help women process the emotional and physical scars left by cancer.
Professional Makeovers and Photoshoots that help women see themselves through a new lens. Hair loss, surgeries, and treatment side effects can dramatically affect self-image. These experiences help participants reconnect with their beauty, strength, and sense of self.
Storytelling and Podcast Interviews that give women a platform to share their journeys, transform pain into purpose, and inspire others facing similar challenges. Being heard and validated is often a powerful step in the healing process.
Runway Coaching and Confidence Training that encourage women to step outside their comfort zones, build self-assurance, and celebrate how far they have come.
The Rev the Runway Celebration, where participants take center stage and are honored not as patients, but as courageous women, survivors, and thrivers. The runway experience serves as a symbolic milestone, helping many reclaim confidence and recognize their own resilience.
Peer Support, Mentorship, and Community Building that reduce isolation and foster meaningful connections with women who understand the cancer journey firsthand.

Together, these experiences create a transformative pathway from diagnosis to empowerment, addressing the emotional and mental health needs that are often overlooked during cancer treatment. Through these programs, hundreds of women have found renewed confidence, purpose, connection, and hope for the future.

Our goal is to raise $60,000 through ticket sales and community donations to ensure these life-changing programs remain available at no cost to the women who need them most. We are also seeking to raise an additional $60,000 in corporate sponsorship.
