I fell short. I was going through life on my own understandings and constantly fighting my battles (addiction, anger, anxiety and self-esteem). Thankfully In time I learned I couldn't conquer those alone. Reading the bible and going to church I knew I wasn't alone. I know God was with me in his word and I know that my brothers and sisters in christ are with me. With that I have been able to grow in a way I couldn't do alone.
