In recognition of Randy Sprung's 44-year career at Dakota Wesleyan University, Lesta and Mike Turchen have established an endowed scholarship to honor his impact on the university community. Since joining the faculty in 1980, Sprung has exemplified a commitment to student success leaving a mark on generations of students. Additionally, his dedication to financially supporting the university further underscores his commitment to its mission and success.
Throughout his career, Sprung has advocated for student-athletes and provided support to help many students overcome challenges. Through the endowed scholarship in his honor, Randy Sprung’s legacy will continue to impact future generations of students at Dakota Wesleyan University. The Randy Sprung Endowed Scholarship will be given to students studying behavioral science, psychology, or sociology and in good academic standing with the university.
