Karl's Superpower is Steadiness! Karl is a steadfast therapy horse. He is a rock for clients, whether they need a smooth ride or a shoulder to cry on.

Karl is a registered Norwegian Fjord and was a seasoned therapy horse before joining our herd. He was a member of the Stable Pathways therapy program before joining HYH in 2021 thanks to a grant from the Ralph French Charitable Foundation. Karl is such a great therapy partner that he has gleefully stepped into mental health sessions beyond hippotherapy. He is very stoic, but is learning to let his guard down and enjoy the fun side of life.
