A Brush with Kindness

In rural Montezuma County, Colorado, there are a number of families living in homes in need of house-saving repairs so they can stay in those homes. At Habitat for Humanity of Montezuma County's A Brush with Kindness we work with the community to save these homes from deterioration.

We serve senior citizens, disabled, lower income and Native American families who are currently in sub-standard homes. By repairing these residences, families are safer, healthier and able to stay in homes some have lived in for generations.

Most of these repairs and ADA projects are in excess of $20,000-30,000 each. Your donation helps us work with area contractors and vendors, voluntreers and government agencies to save these homes.
