I was introduced to ISC by my then teenage daughter. It was their first season at Barnsdall Park and she had classmates that were in the cast of "The Two Gentlemen of Verona ". I was hooked from that point on. Nothing beats a beautiful summer evening than spending it under the stars and seeing quality professional theater. Now as a board member, I want to introduce that experience to as many people as I can. There's something special about witnessing the many different cultural groups in attendance at the Griffith Park Free Shakespeare Festival, many of them families, absorbing the language of Shakespeare - and understanding it through the skill of these talented actors. I've described ISC as a jewel in the crown of Los Angeles, and to keep it going with the FREE festival, in addition to their many other events and classes, I urge you to donate to this worthy non-profit organization.
