VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN CONFERENCE Strengthening Response and Empowering Victims SEPTEMBER 8-10, 2025 VISION STATEMENT We envision a world where gender-based violence is unacceptable, where perpetrators are held accountable, and victims receive the compassion, support, and justice they deserve. MISSION STATEMENT We inspire and educate those who respond to gender-based violence, equipping them with the knowledge and tools they need to support victims and hold perpetrators accountable. We promote victim-centered, multi-disciplinary collaboration, which strengthens the response of the criminal justice system, other professionals, allies, and the general public - making communities safer. The purpose of this conference is to focus on violence against women such as sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking, human trafficking, and domestic violence to highlight promising practices and emerging issues to effectively respond to these crimes. This conference is a must attend for police, criminal justice advocates, victim advocates, local city and county authorities, education providers, health, housing, social workers and victims of violent crimes.
