SubjectToClimate 2025 Annual Fund

The education system holds untapped power to drive large-scale climate action. Nearly 50 million students attend U.S. public schools, and research shows that climate education can make a measurable difference in our environment. However, for students to take meaningful action on climate and sustainability, they must first gain the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and address these challenges. By equipping educators with the tools to confidently teach climate change, we can unlock exponential impact, preparing an entire generation of climate-literate citizens and change-makers.

At SubjectToClimate, we’ve figured out how to seamlessly integrate climate education into existing curricula, without needing school or district approval - we offer pre-vetted, standards-aligned, high-quality resources that seamlessly fit within existing educational requirements AND help students learn core academic concepts. SubjectToClimate (StC)’s platform supports teachers as they help their students develop life skills for a sustainable future. In doing so, we are unlocking the power of education to effect change at scale. StC envisions a future where every child learns about climate change and becomes a steward of our planet. To achieve this vision, our mission is to empower all educators to easily and effectively teach about climate change, justice, and action.
