Kaibigan ng Lāhaina’s mission is to deliver community-based recovery support and resource assistance for those impacted by the August 2023 Maui wildfires. Our approach to healing is holistic and comprehensive, creating pathways to resilience that honor each client’s overall well-being.

Through case management and resource navigation, we help survivors access essential services; through culturally grounded mental and physical health programs, we ensure care is responsive, accessible, and reflective of our community’s values. Our goal is to make recovery achievable and resilience sustainable.

Our passion extends beyond rebuilding a stronger West Maui—we are committed to fostering long-term thriving through workforce development and youth advancement initiatives, ensuring Lāhaina remains home for future generations. Rooted in indigenous cultural values and practices, our work serves not only Filipino immigrants and migrants, but the diverse communities that make up Lāhaina.
