CA Heroes For Freedom Foundation Fishing Tournament

On April 25th, 2026, the California Chapter of Heroes For Freedom Foundation will host our Inaugural Warrior Fishing Tournament at Millers Landing on Bass Lake, an experience created to do far more than put a line in the water.

At Heroes For Freedom Foundation, our mission is to serve the men and women who have served our country by creating meaningful opportunities for connection through engaging, shared experiences. We believe that healing begins with camaraderie and that something as simple as a day on the lake, surrounded by fellow veterans who understand the journey, can restore a sense of belonging, purpose, and community that is often lost after military service ends.

This event brings that mission to life.

Our Warrior participants will gather on Friday evening, April 24th, for a Captain’s Dinner, where they will meet their professional fishing guides, fellow veterans, and volunteers in preparation for the day ahead. On Saturday, April 25th, twelve guided boats will launch onto Bass Lake for a full day of fishing, fellowship, and connection.

Thanks to the generosity of our partners and supporters, this tournament will be fully supported with professional guides, equipment, meals, and event logistics, ensuring that our veterans can simply show up, relax, connect, and enjoy an unforgettable day on the water.

These moments may seem small, but their impact is not.
