Our Story: The Inspiration Behind Caiden’s Corner - The Ausome Families Foundation

When our son, Caiden, was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, our world changed very fast. We quickly learned about the unique challenges and needs that come with supporting a child on the autism spectrum, and we also discovered how many families in our community were on similar journeys.

We faced gaps in resources, financial strain, and isolation, yet we also found hope in the connections we made with other families and advocates.

That experience became the driving force behind Caiden’s Corner - The Ausome Families Foundation a nonprofit launching in June 2025 to serve families in South Mississippi affected by Autism.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to create a safe, supportive community where families can connect, access resources, and find the tools they need to help their children thrive.

Through Caiden’s Corner, we plan to provide:

- Family Support Groups: A place for parents and caregivers to connect, share, and support each other.
- Educational Workshops: Guidance on topics like behavior management, advocacy, and navigating the education system.
- Assistance Program: Financial aid for families needing help with costs not covered by insurance.
- Community Awareness Events: Events like sensory-friendly family days and sensory inclusive efforts in the school systems to build understanding and inclusion in our community.

About This Campaign:

This crowdfunding campaign is our chance to get Caiden’s Corner off the ground. We’re aiming to raise $25,000 to cover the startup costs needed to bring these programs to life. Here’s where your donation will go:
