Camp Blodgett was founded by a group of women in 1921 as a non-profit focused on providing outdoor experiences for orphaned children in West Michigan. Over the last century, our programming has evolved from solely a summer camp experience to a variety of year-round programs benefitting 8-17 year old children and teens in Kent and Ottawa counties.

We believe ALL kids, regardless of income, deserve access to opportunity. From summer camp fees based on a sliding scale to free school-year programs, our priority is in providing affordable recreational and educational experiences for the kids in our community.
