The alumni committee's mission is to support YMCA Camp Chingachgook’s growth and progress, preserve its history, maintain its traditional values, and provide opportunities for alumni and camp friends to stay in touch with each other and Camp Chingachgook throughout the year. The magic of camp transcends generations, and the Chingachgook experience that we all know and love is still being delivered to a new wave of campers. Soon enough, reveille will blow, new friendships will be made, new skills learned, and the sound of the whole camp singing taps will echo off Buck Mountain as the sun sets behind the lake.

Your support of the Alumni Association helps provide scholarships to campers and strengthens programs by funding projects such as expansions to the summer sailing program, high ropes course, hiking programs, and larger capital projects such as the Hike Center, Baxter Field, the Climbing Tower & the Sailing Pavilion.

This year, our alumni committee is focused on raising funds to support Camp's waterskiing program! This program brings joy to our campers each year, who look forward to gliding across the water, building confidence, and learning new skills. With your help, we can keep this unique experience accessible for all kids. Every donation, big or small, will go toward equipment upkeep, safety gear, staff training, and ensuring that every camper gets a chance to make unforgettable memories on the lake. Let’s come together to support our campers and help them make the most of their summers on the Lake!
