Adolescents and Young Adults (AYA’s) with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses are at risk for anxiety and depression due to disruption in their developmental trajectory, greater physical symptom burden, and increased likelihood of developing aggressive diseases. Our mission is to connect teens and young adults through meaningful camp activities to build relationships and provide relevant information and resources to help them navigate their disease and its long-term side effects.
Join us as we grow our reach in the Central Illinois area to serve young adults currently receiving treatment and survivors, along with their sibling/significant other, with retreats and year-long support programs to help them navigate life during and post treatment.
