Camp Kaleidoscope is a week-long summer camp for kids whose parents have been impacted by cancer. This camp is incredibly important to me as I have made many meaningful connections with other kids who have shared similar experiences as me. Since my mother was affected with breast cancer in 2016, Camp Kaleidoscope has been my biggest support system in navigating the emotions I have felt during difficult times related to my mom’s cancer. While I cannot attend camp anymore, I want children to be able to have this support system in hopes they feel as loved and understood as I felt.
