Hi everyone!!
My name is Loca, and I am a counselor at Camp Kaleidoscope this year!
Camp Kaleidoscope is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. We are a community driven by passionate college student leaders that hosts a free week-long sleepaway camp for children who have or had a parent with cancer.
From waking up in a freezing cabin to sitting around a warm campfire singing songs every night, every part of Camp Kaleidoscope is truly magical. I joined it, originally, as I have always wanted to be a camp counselor, but never had a full summer to do that, and this was a perfect way to achieve that goal while also making a positive impact on children who need it most. And that impact is astronomical on both the kids and myself.
This year, I am so excited for friends and family day to be reunited with my campers!! So this Giving Tuesday, please consider donating to Camp Kaleidoscope!
Your donation would mean a lot to us! Here is where your donation would go:
$20 - T-shirts for a camper
$50 - Art supplies for rotations
$75 - Dance party decorations
$100 - Unit snacks for a week
$500 - Send a camper to camp!
$1000 - Fund a camp carnival!
If you can't make a donation at this point, it would mean so much to me and help me reach my goal by sharing this page on any social media platform or with anyone that might be interested in helping us out.
Thank you so much!
All the Kaleidoscope love,
Loca
