| Hey y'all! My name is PiggyBear and I am a counselor at Camp Kaleidoscope this year! Camp Kaleidoscope is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. We are a community driven by passionate student leaders that hosts a free week-long sleepaway camp for children who have or had a parent with cancer. I joined Kaleidoscope because I wanted to help kids and families and be a good mentor. My campers from last summer taught me about the human side of cancer, lessons which inspire me and motivate me in the lab. Camp is a place where kids can form friendships, build resilience, and just be kids! It is truly a magical place. This year, I am so excited for all the camp songs, games, and reflection activities. I want to make it a week that my campers will never forget. So this Giving Tuesday, please consider donating to Camp Kaleidoscope! Your donation would mean a lot to us! Here is where your donation would go: $20 - T-shirts for a camper $50 - Art supplies for rotations $75 - Dance party decorations $100 - Unit snacks for a week $500 - Send a camper to camp $1000 - Fund a camp carnival If you can't make a donation at this point, help me reach my goal by sharing this page on any social media platform or with anyone that might be interested in helping us out. ![]() Thank you so much! With so much love, PiggyBear |
