Bear “Wizard” Tolson's Story

Hey y'all! My name is Wizard and I am a counselor at Camp Kaleidoscope this year!

Camp Kaleidoscope is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. We are a community driven by passionate college student leaders that hosts a free week-long sleepaway camp for children who have or had a parent with cancer.

I joined Kaleidoscope because I want to be a mentor and role model kids and teens in my community! Camp is a place where kids impacted by a parents cancer are able to have fun, in an inclusive and supportive environment, and has been one of the most rewarding experiences for me since I joined Stanford.

This year, I am so excited to meet my new campers, and go on our backpacking trip!! So this Giving Tuesday, please consider donating to Camp Kaleidoscope!

Your donation would mean a lot to us! Here is where your donation would go:

$20 - T-shirts for a camper

$50 - Art supplies for rotations

$75 - Dance party decorations

$100 - Unit snacks for a week

$500 - Send a camper to camp

$1000 - Fund a camp carnival

If you can't make a donation at this point, help me reach my goal by sharing this page on any social media platform or with anyone that might be interested in helping us out.

Thank you so much!

With so much love,

Wizard
