Hey y'all! My name is Lulu and I am a counselor at Camp Kaleidoscope this year! Camp Kaleidoscope is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. We are a community driven by passionate college student leaders that hosts a free week-long sleepaway camp for children who have or had a parent with cancer. I joined Kaleidoscope to serve as a resource and advocate for our campers! Having been the cancer patient and not the family member, I believe I bring a different perspective to camp and for the campers. I hope that my story inspires hope and that my presence at camp makes at least one camper feel seen and loved. Camp is a place where everyone is safe, community comes first, and laughter and joy echo from every corner. This year, I am so excited to reunite with my campers, support Kaleidoscope at the Spark a Smile Gala, and continue to grow within the unique and special Kaleidoscope community.
