| Hey y'all! My name is Nick "Filbert" Riedman, and I am a Counselor at Camp Kaleidoscope this year! Camp Kaleidoscope is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. We are a community driven by passionate college student leaders that hosts a free week-long sleepaway camp for children who have or had a parent with cancer. I joined Kaleidoscope because I saw how much it meant to both the campers and the counselors! Camp is a place where campers and counselors alike can experience unconditional joy, fun, and acceptance. For five days, the campers can spend time with kids their own age who know something of what they are going through, and engage with everything from silly competitions to serious self reflection in a safe, supportive space. And there are s'mores!! This year, besides Camp, I am so excited to bake a yummy desert for our annual Spark a Smile Gala and hear our very own counselors perform live music. So this 100 Day Campaign, please consider donating to Camp Kaleidoscope! Your donation would mean a lot to us! Here is where your donation would go: $20 - T-shirts for a camper $50 - Art supplies for rotations $75 - Dance party decorations $100 - Unit snacks for a week $500 - Send a camper to camp $1000 - Fund a camp carnival If you can't make a donation at this point, help me reach my goal by sharing this page on any social media platform or with anyone that might be interested in helping us out. Thank you so much! With so much love, Filbert | ||||||||||
