Samuel "Shampoo" Wu's Story
Hey everyonel! My name is Shampoo and I am a Outdoor Leadership Program Coordinator at Camp Kaleidoscope this year! Camp Kaleidoscope is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. We are a community driven by passionate college student leaders that creates a free week-long sleepaway camp for children who have or had a parent with cancer.
Camp Kaleidoscope was the greatest experience of my college career so far. It is a place where I have formed some of my closet friendships with my campers and fellow counselors. I can't wait to help plan and organize the upcoming backpacking trip for the metal units!
This year, I am looking forward to our annual gala and seeing the campers throughout the year. So, this Giving Tuesday, please consider donating to Camp Kaleidoscope!
Your donation would mean a lot to us and help make camp happen! Here is where your donation would go:
$20 - T-shirts for a camper
$50 - Art supplies for our Crafts Rotations
$75 - Dance party decorations
$100 - Unit snacks for a week
$300 - Rent bouncy houses for our camp-wide Carnival
$500 - Fund a backpacking trip for our Outdoor Leadership Program
$1000 - Send a camper to camp
If you can't make a donation at this point, help me reach my goal by sharing this page on any social media platform or with anyone that might be interested in helping us out.
Thank you so much!
With so much love,
Shampoo
