Smoked Canned Salmon Food bank Drive

Here's the deal!  I have 30 cases of smoked canned keta salmon left in my inventory and I leave to go fishing April 15.  I would love to get this fish into the Jefferson County Food Bank system. That being said, I am trying to raise exactly $4,089 dollars to be able to move these fish out of storage and into the Food Banks AT COST to myself.

The Jefferson County Food Bank Association likes to receive deliveries on Tuesdays, so I will put a time stamp on this campaign of Now through April 14 and cap it if I manage to reach my goal.  All Fish from this drive will be delivered by April 14 2025.  Even if the goal is not met, I will deliver whatever is raised through this drive by April 14.

-Asking you to purchase these fish at cost from myself benefits me in that I am not sitting on inventory and therefore money.  These cans have a 5 year best by date, and they were caught in 2024, so there's plenty of time for folks receiving them to enjoy them!

-This benefits the Food Banks as many of  them are facing federal budget cuts.  You can read more about this HERE.  This also benefits them as the Executive Director of the Jefferson County Food Bank association informed me that they are always happy to receive salmon, as they are always looking for healthy protein options.  So I am not giving them a product they do not want or have too much of already.

-I usually sell out of this product every year, but part of the seafood business is that things also vary widely from year to year and try as I might....I can't always predict what will happen with the market.

-My Mutual Aid Fish Shares program is an ongoing program and is separate from this drive (as the dollars people have donated to this translates to my wholesale pricing).  I have already scheduled deliveries for this years monetary donations for this program.

-You might be wondering if I can do this every year.  As of right now no, I can only do these drives out of necessity.  I would like to be able to set aside a portion of my inventory every year for things like this, but currently it is not possible until I increase my markets and volume.  But striving towards this goal is certainly on my mind.
