Preserve Our Past. Protect Their Future.

For more than a century, our building has stood as part of the West Plains community. Built in 1917, it has weathered generations of change and provided a place where people can learn, grow, build friendships, and discover their potential.

Today, that historic building needs our community's help.

At Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater West Plains Area, we believe every child deserves a safe, welcoming place to go after school—a place where they can receive homework help, enjoy a warm meal, explore new opportunities, and be surrounded by caring adults who believe in them.

But to continue providing that place for our kids, we must invest in the building that makes it possible.

Our aging facility is facing several critical repairs and improvements:

$79,000 — Tuckpointing and Leak Prevention: Deteriorating masonry is allowing water to enter the building, creating serious leaks. Repairing the exterior brickwork is essential to protect the structure and prevent further damage.
$4,000 — Window Repairs and Replacement: Cracked windows need attention to improve safety, protect the building from the elements, and help maintain a secure environment for our members.
$20,000 — New HVAC for the Gym and Kitchen: Our kids deserve comfortable spaces to play, learn, eat, and participate in programs throughout the year. New heating and cooling equipment will help us provide a healthier, more comfortable environment.
Flooring Improvements — Cost TBD: Much of our flooring has deteriorated to the point that sections are being held together with duct tape. We need to replace worn, damaged flooring to create safer, cleaner, and more functional spaces for children and staff.

Our known repair and improvement costs already total $103,000—and that doesn't include the flooring project.

For a nonprofit dedicated to serving children and families, these expenses represent a significant challenge. Every dollar we spend on emergency building repairs is a dollar we must work harder to raise to support our programs and the kids who depend on us.

That's why we're asking our community to stand with us.

Your donation is more than a contribution to a building. It's an investment in children, families, and the future of our community. When you help us repair the leaks, replace the windows, improve the flooring, and bring reliable heating and cooling to our gym and kitchen, you're helping ensure that our Club can continue to be a place where kids feel safe, supported, encouraged, and inspired.

This building has stood since 1917. With your help, we can protect it, strengthen it, and prepare it to serve another generation.

Whether you give $10, $100, $1,000, or more, every contribution brings us one step closer to a safer, stronger Club.

Please donate today, share our campaign with friends and family, and help us preserve this important community resource for the children who need us most. Let's fix the building. Let's protect the mission. Let's build a stronger future—together.

With gratitude,

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater West Plains Area
