As a non-profit organization, we strive to deliver accessible and affordable early childhood education for all, which means keeping our tuition low. However, the childcare landscape since Covid has been treacherous and the shifts we’ve felt at CCDC have been seismic.

We hold a unique place in the childcare landscape, providing a strong vision for what high quality child care with a diverse population can look like. When President Joe Biden came to Connecticut in October 2021, it was from a classroom inside CCDC that he delivered a speech about nation-wide priorities and his Build Back Better legislation. The President of the United States could have chosen to put that podium anywhere in the entire state, but we believe that the diversity and mission of CCDC was the most meaningful backdrop for his message. And that speaks volumes about what we’re doing here for this community.
