Story
Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Partnership and 101 years of the historic Dentzel Carousel, Glen Echo Park’s Gala is the must-attend event of the year! Carousel Carnival will be a night of circus entertainers, an exquisite dinner in the Spanish Ballroom, a silent auction, cocktails, carousel rides, and so much more. You won't want to miss this special event.
We will award the Friend of Glen Echo Park Award to the Honorable Nancy Kopp, and the Puppet Co.’s Allan Stevens, Christopher Piper & Mayfield Piper will receive the Artist Award. County Councilmember Andrew Friedson will receive the Park's Advocacy Award. Congressman Jamie Raskin will serve as the event’s Honorary Gala Chair. Frank Van Riper will serve as our emcee for the evening.
The event raises essential funds to support Glen Echo Park’s arts and cultural programs, and historic facilities. Each year over 350,000 people attend the Park’s classes, social dances, family festivals, concerts, exhibitions, children’s theater performances, and much more.
