On March 11th, 2019, Charles “Chuck” Taylor started with an inspiring idea that had been on his mind for the past seven years. He envisioned a family organization that would unite the descendants of Mary Queenan-Carter, creating a structured way to strengthen their family bonds.

Motivated by the desire to preserve their rich family heritage and ensure future generations stayed connected, Chuck brought together representatives from each of Mary Queenan-Carter’s children. Their shared goal was to create family unity and progression, focus on professional development, and promote economic empowerment among the generations. Chuck soon realized that his idea was part of a broader vision with the potential to impact the entire nation. He shifted the focus from solely helping his family to including individuals and communities everywhere.

This heartfelt initiative gave birth to the Carter Family Foundation (CFF), a nonprofit devoted to transforming lives and nurturing dreams. We believe in the power of education and opportunity to create a brighter tomorrow for individuals of all ages. Through education, mentorship, and unwavering support, we empower individuals to thrive socially, academically, and economically. We strive to uplift each person, knowing that by doing so, we elevate families, strengthen communities, and contribute to a brighter future for our nation.
