Cartersville Schools Foundation, Inc.

The Cartersville Schools Foundation, chartered in 1995, supports the academic achievement of students in Cartersville City Schools.

GateKey is a needs-based scholarship program supporting selected students from Cartersville High School in their post-secondary education. Most of these students are first-generation college students, some are the first in their family to graduate high school. GateKey is changing the trajectory of our students' lives.

BackPack Buddies supports food-insecure students of both the Cartersville City and Bartow County Schools through weekend meals.

Least of These supports our homeless and low income students with basic needs not covered by federal grant funds. The intent is to "level the playing field" and provide them with access to all opportunities available in the schools, as well as supplying them with basic needs.

Mentor Canes engages adult volunteers who commit to support, guide and offer friendship to a young person for a period of at least one year.
