Pledge Drive 2024 - CLOSED

This December, please consider supporting CARTOONISTS RIGHTS' annual Pledge Drive.

Starting on Giving Tuesday – December 3rd – we'll be asking friends of global cartoonists to dig deep, as this holiday season we've set our most ambitious target ever. Before Christmas we want to raise at least $20,250.

2025 is a big year for us, as we mark twenty-five years of campaigning on behalf of cartoonists abused, criminalized, displaced, and threatened because of what we draw. January 7th will be the tenth anniversary of the murders at Charlie Hebdo magazine, Paris and an opportunity to reflect on the evolving threats to free expression. In May we will present the Robert Russell Courage in Cartooning Award to a cartoonist who has exemplified the principle of free expression while working under duress. And throughout the year we will continue to advocate for and assist as many more cartoonists as we can.
