About Casa de la Esperanza

Casa de la Esperanza, literally translated, means “house of hope,” and that is exactly what it is for many children in northern Mexico–a safe haven. Casa is a faith-based organization that cares for orphaned, abandoned, and abused children, as well as children whose parents cannot care for them. The home is located in Anáhuac, Chihuahua, Mexico, situated on eighty acres in the beautiful Sierra Madre Mountains.

Casa currently houses sixty children and has provided hope to more than 700 children over three decades. In some cases, children are reunited with their families; other children may stay for the amount of time needed to receive training for their future, whether that is in a trade school, college, or university.

Recreation Needs and Opportunities:

Recreation equipment for a new indoor recreation space (under construction)
Futsal goals and other outdoor recreation equipment
Concrete repair, court painting, general maintenance
Playground equipment replacement
Sport & recreation supplies (balls, cones, games, activities)
Opportunities to improve recreation equipment in the town of Anáhuac

100% of the funds collected will be provided to Casa de la Esperanza to improve the recreation and athletic opportunities for the children in their care. Actual projects will be determined based on donations received, current priorities, and projects with the greatest impact.
