My friend Greg was the driving force for me to join the Castaways.  Before his passing we spoke about the Castaways and my wanting to paddle with them in the coming year in his honor.  He encouraged and made me believe I could do it so when he passed away a few weeks later I called Patrick and started the process of joining the castaways.
