I learned about the Castaways Against Cancer (CAC) organization as a CCHS freshmen. I quickly fell in love with the unique initiative & began to volunteer at as many CAC events as possible. What is particularly meaningful is the funds raised go to the UM's Sylvester Cancer Center where my father received the best treatment for Stage IV lung cancer. We volunteer, paddle, swim, run, or bike to honor, fight, and celebrate the lives of people like my father!
