Catnip Ranch Cat Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming stray, abandoned, and surrendered cats. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless cats through adoption, spay/neuter programs, and community education. We envision a community where every cat has a loving home and receives proper care.

About Us

Located in the heart of Central Kentucky, Catnip Ranch is a sanctuary dedicated to rescuing and providing a forever home for displaced and homeless cats. Whether due to the death or illness of their owners, or other emergency situations, we offer these cats a safe and loving environment. We also specialize in relocating feral cat colonies, ensuring each cat is spayed or neutered and acclimated before being released into their new surroundings.

Our Services

Cat Boarding: We offer specialized boarding services for cats, with facilities like kitty cabins and outdoor enclosures tailored to their needs.
Rescue and Rehabilitation: Our team is committed to rescuing cats and providing the necessary care to rehabilitate them.
Feral Cat Program: We work tirelessly to relocate feral cats, providing them with a temporary home until they are ready to be released in a safe environment.
Adoption Services: While most of our cats stay with us permanently, we also strive to reunite them with their owners or find them new, loving homes when possible.

We aim to expand our facilities by leasing a permanent property in Georgetown, Kentucky. This new location will allow us to accommodate more animals and potentially offer retreat services for animal lovers. We are currently raising funds to make this vision a reality and appreciate any support.
