I’m proud to be a part of Leadership Modesto, Class of 2026, and even prouder of the legacy project we’ve chosen to leave behind.
This year, our class is partnering with the Stanislaus Animal Services Agency (SASA) to transform eight outdoor dog runs that are essential to the health, safety, and adoptability of shelter dogs. Today, these yards are made up of dirt and hazardous weeds like foxtails — conditions that can cause injury, illness, and stress for dogs already waiting for a second chance.
With your support, we will replace these unsafe surfaces with clean, durable, and easy-to-sanitize turf — creating safer play spaces, healthier shelter stays, and better first impressions for potential adopters. This project isn’t just about improving facilities. It’s about helping dogs feel calmer, healthier, and more ready to find their forever homes.
Every square foot you help renovate brings a dog one step closer to that future.
Thank you for your support!
