KINGDOM PREPARATION- Bootcamp
Jeremy (fictitious name), a young male around age 23, often sat beside the road, as close as he dared to the traffic. Why? He said the traffic noise drowned out the noise of the angry voices in his head that shouted at him hateful accusations and tried to persuade him to kill himself. Sometimes, he sat on the edge of a high roof and listened to the traffic below. Partly for the same reason but also because the voices told him to. He stopped at our ministry booth to hear our message and ask questions one Sunday morning. We took him to church with us and later, to our home and shared Sunday dinner with him. He had been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and depression. I had a brief bible study to show him what was going on with him in the spiritual realm. He said he finally understood after years of counseling and therapy. Drugs his doctors gave him only made him feel worse. After prayer, he felt strange because for the first time since his teen years, his head was clear, the voices were quiet. I taught him how to command the demonic spirits and to keep praise and worship around himself. I instructed him about forgiveness and salvation and taught him about the war going on inside him. He was happy to know that he wasn't just "crazy". He started forgiving people in his past, and he forgave himself. then he repented of his sins and invited Jesus in. He said the voices were really angry with him after that and they hated me. I told him not to worry. They were supposed to hate me. I reminded him to take control, and he did. We commanded the demons to leave him, prayed for him and read more Scriptures until he was delivered. He looked like a different man! When it was time for him to get back to his place for the night, he asked for a bible and music. We gladly gave to him. I wrote passages for him to read and gave him other materials. Occasionally, he would call to give us updates, but the calls soon stopped, and we didn't see him anymore. I am thankful that he was delivered that day, and I know he had the resources and understanding to remain delivered. Mostly, he had Jesus living in Him, so the demons couldn't have a home in him anymore.
With so much death and war in our world, war in our communities, homes, families and even war within the individual self, can you agree with me that people need love to give as well as to know that they are loved? Paul tells the Corinthian church that charity (giving, unselfish love) is the "greatest thing". I started GLO Academy of Discipleship in 2017 to teach men and women about this powerful love of God through studying and observing the love actions and character of Jesus Himself as He walked in the earth healing and setting captives free, even raising from the dead. The impact that Jesus had on the earth more than 2000 years ago is still felt today in people and families all over the world. Yet, there are millions more who still need to know and experience this love. Our graduates are empowered and inspired to inspire and impact communities. What the world needs today can't be fixed or accomplished with laws that are ignored and broken, some even outdated. Doctors are not even curing all the patients that do visit them. A behavior psychologist once wrote on an evaluation, "Her problems are so deeply rooted with so many layers that it's beyond my scope to propose a recovery plan. The next assessor would probably propose an entirely different diagnosis and plan." How can we expect them to have the answers for what our communities need today? There is no love greater than God's love, so this is the gargantuan task that GLO Academy has endeavored to accomplish. However, we can't do it alone. Will you help us by planting your seeds into our organization today? Bootcamp Conferences are established and organized for intensive training and preparation of Believers to fight the fight of faith, to stand and to be empowered to follow the works and actions of Christ in demonstrating HIS love and power on the earth. Through powerful preaching, training, fervent and effective prayer, anointing, Holy Communion, worship, praise, and spending quality time in the Presence of Holy Spirit, participants leave Bootcamp suited up (Ephesians 6) and prepared to live the life of faith (Romans) and to share the gospel of the Kingdom with the communities of our world (Acts). By helping us to continue to have these training Bootcamps and to train through our Academy, Your donation will help to improve the condition of life in our communities and in the world.
