Chatham County Partnership For Children Reindeer Run: Running For Children

The Reindeer Run 5K is more than just a festive race — it’s a powerful way to support the work of Chatham County Partnership for Children year-round! Held in Pittsboro, North Carolina, with a scenic route beginning and ending at Central Carolina Community College, this event brings together runners, families, and community members to celebrate health, wellness, and the holiday spirit.

Every step taken during the Reindeer Run helps fuel the Partnership’s mission to serve Chatham County families with children under five. Through early childhood education support, family engagement programs, and technical assistance for childcare providers, we work daily to ensure that young children thrive.

A portion of proceeds from the Reindeer Run directly funds our Physical Activity Grant, which provides opportunities to encourage active, healthy lifestyles for children and families in our community. By participating, you are helping create more spaces, programs, and activities that promote movement, well-being, and connection across Chatham County.
