The Capital District YMCA is hitting the road with Y on the Fly—our brand-new mobile YMCA unit designed to deliver programs and services directly to neighborhoods across the Capital Region.

From fitness activities and healthy snacks to youth enrichment, teen engagement, and family fun, Y on the Fly helps eliminate barriers to access and ensures that more communities can experience the benefits of the Y—wherever they are.

This exciting initiative is made possible through the generous support of the Highmark Blue Fund.

Flexible enough to meet diverse community needs, the Y on the Fly mobile unit can deliver healthy food to food deserts; help teens find healthy outlets on the court, on the field, or in a local park; and bring neuromotor wellness programming to seniors who can't travel. Block parties, parades, summer camp drop-ins: The YMCA is HERE for you!
