12th Annual Celebrate Schools VIRTUAL 5K Run/Walk

On October 2nd, registered participants will receive a Celebrate Schools 5K kick-off email that will include links to our interactive Zoom Room (October 3rd, 7-10 a.m.) and an on-demand video to keep you motivated and moving!
Join us between October 2nd - 4th, 2020 for this year's VIRTUAL Celebrate Schools Monster Mad Dash 5K presented by Virginia Mason. Run, walk, stroll, roll when and where you want. Register by October 1st to join our interactive Zoom Room on October 3rd, 7 - 10 a.m. (PST)
Story
Welcome to the 12th Annual, but first-ever VIRTUAL, Celebrate Schools Monster Mad Dash Run/Walk. We're excited you've joined us! It's a new format, but the same spooktacular fun benefiting children, families and teachers in the Edmonds School District.
Between October 2nd and 4th, runners, walkers, rollers, strollers and waggers can complete their 5K whenever and wherever they choose. All registered participants will be invited to take part in our interactive Zoom Room from 7 - 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 3rd. Look forward to an appearance by KXA radio host Stitch Mitchell. He'll be back this year as our event emcee, announcing live from the Zoom Room. "Meet up" with other racers and teams. Show off your costume and 5K spirit. Take part in the pooch parade or costume parade. There will be prizes for best human and canine costumes!
To make your race a little more lively, watch an on-demand video featuring this year's awesome event sponsors. Each sponsor will have a special message and start a new race heat every 30 minutes. Fill out a bingo card for each video segment watched and you could win a prize.
