Support MASTHEAD on Giving Tuesday 2022

This Giving Tuesday, support our mission at Media Alumni Seeking to Highlight Equity and Diversity. We are raising money to launch a FOIA fund to help student journalists pay for public records requests and to send a large UA contingent to next year's meeting of the National Association of Black Journalists in Birmingham.

Donors who contribute $50 or more will receive copies of the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 issues of Nineteen Fifty-Six Magazine mailed to your doorstep as soon as they're available. 

MASTHEAD advocates for diverse, anti-racist and equitable student media at the University of Alabama. We provide financial resources and professional mentorship to current student journalists in order to promote a more inclusive environment going forward, both for people working in student media and the broader UA community that they cover.
