Every week, Shabbat Angels provides financial assistance to families, ensuring they can put food on the table for Shabbat. During the Chagim season, the need is even greater, as many more families, referred by social workers, rabbis, and community members, reach out for help with essential grocery shopping. During this time we really try and help as many families as possible to ensure that any Jew that requests food assistance is being taken care of.

Shabbat Angels supports these families by offering gift cards to their local grocery stores, empowering them to shop with dignity and choose the foods they need and prefer for their holiday meals.

The Chagim can place a significant financial strain on families, and we aim to provide the following assistance for both Rosh Hashana and Sukkot:

$250 for families with up to 3 members
+$100 for each additional family member
(e.g., a family of 5 would receive $450 for Rosh Hashana and $450 for Sukkot)
