ChangeMakers Community Economic Development’s four programs focus on
community needs through the individual (kanakanomics), business (ʻāinapreners), and organization level (philanthropono).
We do this through education courses, community service and a Native CDFI.
- Kanakanomics: Fighting poverty through a support program to educate and equip Native peoples with the financial acumen to create economic stability and build generational wealth.
- ‘Āinapreneurs: Creating and nurturing business through our workforce
development program , to promote economic development and job creation
that values community, people, environment, and ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi. - Philanthropono: Partnering with local, national and international organizations
to address community needs with customized financial support, resources, and experienced hands-on fund development and organizational assistance. - KanakaMob: A Workforce Development Collective is to engage cross-sector partners purpose-filled professions that allow Hawaiʻiʻs people to continue to live, thrive and contribute to the communities they call home. We accomplish this goal by engaging cross-sector partners, including community member to advance equity by learning together, aligning and integrating their actions to achieve population and systems level change.
